Terms of Service

1. What race.travel does

race.travel is an AI-assisted travel planning service for endurance athletes. It aggregates publicly available information about upcoming races (dates, locations, registration status, distances), suggests logistics around each event (transport, lodging, weather windows), and provides deep links to third-party services for booking flights, hotels and other travel components.

race.travel is not a travel agent, a tour operator, or the seller of race entries. Every reservation, race entry or payment is completed between you and the third-party provider (e.g. Ironman, Booking.com, RunSignup) under that provider's own terms. We do not hold your travel inventory and we do not act as an intermediary payment processor for it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If your country of residence sets a higher digital-consent age, that age applies to you.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You must give accurate information — inaccurate emails will break important notifications such as registration-open reminders.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the settings screen or by emailing [email protected].

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the service or its data feeds without our written permission.
• Use automated scrapers, headless browsers or crawlers against race.travel beyond what our robots.txt allows.
• Impersonate another athlete, coach, or event organiser.
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates a third party's intellectual property.
• Interfere with the service's security or availability.

5. Third-party services and affiliate relationships

race.travel routes users to third-party providers — including Booking.com, Ironman.com, UTMB.world, RunSignup, Race Roster, airlines, and ground-transport partners — through deep links. Some of these links are affiliate links and generate a commission for us when you complete a booking or registration. This commission does not increase the price you pay. Where a cashback share is credited to your race.travel wallet, it is disclosed on the checkout screen before you leave the app.

We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, accuracy or performance of any third-party service. Your contract for a hotel room, race entry, flight or any other purchase is directly with that provider and is governed exclusively by that provider's own terms and conditions, refund policy and cancellation rules.

6. Race data accuracy

Race dates, registration opening times, prices and course information are collected from public event pages and can change without notice. race.travel makes reasonable efforts to keep this data current — including human moderation of registration-opening times — but we cannot guarantee its accuracy. Always confirm on the organiser's official page before travelling.

7. Notifications

When you save (❤️) a race we may send you push, email or Telegram notifications about that race — most importantly, when registration opens. You can disable these at any time from the notification settings screen. Transactional messages (account, security) are always delivered.

8. Content ownership

Guides, articles, illustrations and code produced by race.travel are © Cyber System OÜ and are made available for your personal, non-commercial use. Aggregated race data, weather data, geo-data and third-party media are the property of their respective owners and are shown under fair-use or licensed terms.

9. Subscriptions and paid features

Some race.travel features are available on paid plans (Pro annual, Lifetime, and single-race products). Prices, features and billing cycles are shown at checkout. Paid features are billed via Stripe. Refunds are available on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase for annual plans, provided the paid features have not been substantially used. Contact [email protected].

10. Disclaimers

race.travel is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Endurance sport involves inherent physical risk that is your sole responsibility.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyber System OÜ's aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of race.travel is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive damages, including missed races, cancelled flights or lost bookings made through third-party providers.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for a material breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or to comply with a legal request, with reasonable notice unless the breach is urgent.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or operational changes. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, Estonia. If you are an EU consumer, this does not affect your mandatory statutory protections.
